The Booster Club was founded in 1978 by parents of Corpus Christi students. The objectives of our club, as stated in our mission, are “to create a greater appreciation of Catholic education by being a public relations organization for Corpus Christi School, as well as to serve as an auxiliary funding and service group.” This organization is our equivalent to a Parent/Teacher Organization.
In order to achieve these objectives, we sponsor a variety of activities and fundraisers. Booster Club provides funding for such things as field trips, classroom and playground equipment, academic magazine subscriptions, the 8th grade graduation reception, technology maintenance, and staff appreciation. Throughout the school year, we schedule giveback events, the Scrip program (gift card fundraising), spirit wear sales, and volunteer shifts for our Fall Festival booth. Booster Club also hosts several annual fundraising events for Corpus Christi School, including Howl at the Night, Mistletoe Marketplace, and Breakfast with St. Nick
Parents are encouraged to get involved with Booster Club and attend monthly Booster Club meetings. From August to May, meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 6 pm in the Social Room (no meeting in October or December). Attendance earns a free dress pass for your child(ren). Plus, you will hear school updates, learn about upcoming events and fundraisers, and be able to sign up for volunteer opportunities. Learn more about Booster Club by contacting the school office.
